عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة نوتنغهام، قسم اللاهوت والدراسات الدينية،
تشتمل اهتماماته على تاريخ الفكر الإسلامي، واللاهوت والفلسفة الإسلامية في العصور الوسطى، وفكر ابن تيمية وابن قيم الجوزية، والعلاقات المسيحية - الإسلامية.
قبل أن يلتحق بجامعة نوتنغهام في عام 2010، قام بتدريس الدراسات الإسلامية في مدرسة الشرق الأدنى للاهوت في بيروت، وقبل ذلك درس اللغة العربية في القاهرة لعدة سنوات.
مؤهلاته العلمية تشمل درجة الدكتوراه في الدراسات الإسلامية من جامعة برمنجهام، وماجستير في الدراسات اللاهوتية من معهد المونونايت الإنكليزي المرتبطة في إنديانا، وبكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية من فرجينيا تك.
